In total there were five concerts associated with Hal Willner's Harry Smith Project. All of them featured the McGarrigles and all were recorded and filmed. The 4 disc box set represents a "best of" selection from those shows together with associated material related to Harry Smith himself. A 40 page booklet accompanied the set.
